Jessica credits her Sicilian grandmother's stories of the old country as her earliest source of inspiration.  Today Jessica is a mother who tells stories to her own child, and has kept her love of the supernatural alive by watching scary movies, melodramatic Netflix shows, and reading slightly disturbing novels in her spare time.  Books written by Jessica Barone:  The Shadowlands series; Eternal Night, Shadow Cast, Dark Ascension, Dragon Slayer.  Short story collection; Once Upon a Blue Moon.

Jessica Barone is an educator, an avid reader and writer, and the mother of a ten-year-old warrior princess.  She credits her mom, Jeanne, with her love of singing.  Jessica was the lead singer in the acoustic duo Take 2, and was named Enfield Idol in 2013.  She has performed in the Choir in the musical production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.  In October 2023, she performed as Mother Gothel in the musical number “Mother Knows Best” in a Halloween Villain Cabaret.

All JASON ever wanted was a family.  Somewhere to belong.  Born in 1677 in Bordeaux, France, his father is cousin to Louis the Sun King.  His father, in a fit of jealousy, burns down the family’s chateau, taking his own life and that of Jason’s mother and brother.  This act sets Jason on a path to Paris where he attracts the attention of an ancient Russian strigoi.  Although he stays by Alexander's side for some time, Jason ultimately rejects him and boards a ship bound for America, determined to once again start a family of his own.
